Uniforms

Uniforms are not covered as part of the registration fee.

We encourage all registered athletes to wear their Redbacks t‑shirt and black shorts at our Saturday meets so everyone looks and feels part of the team.

For ACT‑level competitions — like the Capital Athletics Relay Carnival or the Australian Little Athletics Championships — the full Redbacks uniform is compulsory. That means athletes need to wear black shorts and a Redbacks t‑shirt, polo, singlet or crop top. Your rego number must be on the front, along with your age group patch and the Coles patch.

There are two ways to purchase Redbacks t-shirts:

  1. Directly from the Club at Saturday meets (we generally have all sizes in stock at the beginning of each season)
  2. Via our online uniform shop provided by our friends, SportsMagic. Note: 
    • All uniform orders are to be delivered to your home address (where postage fees are at your own cost).
    • SportsMagic currently has limited numbers and sizes of other Redbacks-branded items in stock including singlets, polos and shorts.

For the 2026–27 season, we’re hoping to set up a “buy, sell, swap” stall at our Saturday meets so families can pass on uniforms and shoes that no longer fit and pick up what they need at a low cost.

We also encourage all athletes and their families to stay SunSmart when training and competing with the Club.
