QUICK GUIDE… EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

We are not back until the first Saturday in school term 4 2024 (19 October 2024) and after a break in the Christmas school holidays, we start again for school term 1 2025 (8 Feb 2025), starting 9am each Saturday. Click on the Season Calendar to see when we plan to run events for the 2024/25 season.

Come and try us out by just coming down to Chapman Oval any of these Saturdays. If you find it fun then you can register later.

Registration for the 2024-25 season is not open yet and will open in September 2024. When it is open you can Click this link here to register.

The Little Athletics season is open to athletes born 2008 (under 17) to 2019 (under 6). Everyone born in 2019 is an U6, everyone born in 2018 is an U7… 

Uniform can be purchased from our online uniform shop.  

Given all the wet weather, we make a call at 8am every Saturday about whether to go ahead. If it is OFF we send out an email to registered athletes and post this on Facebook for those trying us out. No email and no facebook post means we are ON!

Welcome to our website

Welcome to the home page of the Weston Creek Redbacks. We provide weekly athletics competition and coaching from October to March for young athletes aged 5-17 years.

Our competition program is structured to ensure maximum enjoyment for athletes of all ability. We run a four event program each week comprising a distance event, jumps event, throws event and a sprint.

One of the best things about Little Athletics is that all of your children compete at the same venue and at the same time every week. At the Redbacks, we recognise that families are living hectic lives and we ensure that our program is wrapped up by 11am each week.

Chapman Oval is our home turf which you can access off Tauchert Street, Chapman.
